about

The second cassette put out by tape label Viral Communications, "Signal To Noise" is a collection of tracks by the Ann Arbor ambient/industrial/noise collective Ears Under Siege. EUS got its start in 1992 appearing on The Difficult Listening Hour, a late-night experimental music program on WCBN-FM. Ears Under Siege included a rotating cast of players coming from both the Ann Arbor noise/punk rock scene and the University of Michigan's music school, but this release featured the original core group.

See www.detritus.net/vircomm/ for the original web page about Viral Communications and its various projects.
